EVENT HELD - Queensland Energy Forum

April 4, 2016

On the 1 June 2016, energy users will gather with the decision makers, thought leaders and policy makers at the forefront of Queensland energy to discuss this issue, as well as others critical to energy users, including the merger of Queensland’s electricity distributors, large customer tariff reform and renewable energy opportunities for business.

The state of play of Queensland and east coast energy markets are volatile and evolving, and with a federal election now set for 2 July, energy policy is set (again!) to have a huge profile in political campaigning.

The EUAA Queensland Energy Forum, Securing our Energy into the Future, on 1 June 2016, is being held less than four weeks before the election, and with the state Ministers from each side of the political spectrum in attendance, the critical issues for energy users will be addressed, including:

*   Recent east coast gas announcements,
*   The merger of Queensland's electricity distributors,
*   Large customer tariff reform; and
*   Renewable energy opportunities for business.
Where: Mecure Hotel Brisbane - 85-87 North Quay.

When: Wednesday 1 June 2016
