We are returning to Crown Promenade for our 2027 National Conference on Wed June 2 and Thursday June 3 and we hope to see you there! We are developing an informative and engaging program to cover the critical issues that matter to EUAA members. Details will be released as soon as possible. An accommodation link will be launched late 2026 should you be traveling for the event and wish to stay at Crown. Registrations for the conference will open early 2027.
We are planning trips to each state to visit members at various times throughout the year. We hope to catch up with you at one of these times - please reach out to kyllie.mcmullen@euaa.com.au to find out more about these plans.
The EUAA team continues to be involved in a myriad of activities that are focused on the needs of energy users as our energy markets transition. With so much change taking place in energy, our team is working through the gritty details - the rules and regulations - that govern energy markets. See our latest submissions for a quick summary of some of our recent work in this area. Our newly formed Policy & Steering Committee, whose role is to set the priority issues of the organisation, has had its inaugural meeting. Energy user members are able to join this committee - just email euaa@euaa.com.au for more details.
Through the support of our members we are able to provide an effective voice to advocate for better outcomes for all energy users. We build partnerships with organisations and individuals that understand and are leading change in the energy sector, we support our members through provision of valuable services and meaningful stakeholder engagement, and we create beneficial briefings and networking opportunities. 2026 is shaping up to be a very important year with detailed work beginning on the Gas Market Review, NEM Review and AEMO emergency powers. We will provide more details about this work shortly.
Energy users members, are you attending committee meetings? We have ongoing Gas, Electricity, Energy Transition Working Group & Policy Steering Committee meetings that enable to to have a direct role in determining EUAA policy positions, as well as ensure you have an opportunity to build your knowledge on various issues.
