Information on the different membership categories:

Full Member

Full membership is open to bona fide end-users of electricity and/or gas with annual expenditure of $2 million or more. Full members are entitled to attend meetings, have full voting rights, can nominate to fill vacancies on the Board, gain access to a full range of EUAA services and member advice, receive the EUAA newsletter, have input into all policies and submissions and enjoy substantial discounted entry to EUAA events.

Supporting Member

This membership category is aimed at encouraging those with an interest in energy end-use issues or who supply energy to our members. It is an opportunity to be involved with and support the EUAA for the mutual benefit of themselves and our membership. It specifically aims to encourage interaction between customers and energy market participants. This category of membership would appeal to major energy retailers, generators, distribution businesses, and network & transmission businesses.

However, in recognition that the EUAA is a customer representative body, Supporting Members are not entitled to vote on EUAA policy otherwise all membership rights and privileges are the same as for Full members.

Associate Member

Associate membership is open to bona fide end-users of electricity and/or gas with an annual spend of less than $2 million. Associate members are entitled to the same benefits as Full members (see above).

Affiliate Member

Affiliate membership is open to those with an interest in energy end-use, who wish to be involved in the EUAA and its activities and maintain contact with our members. Affiliate members do not have voting rights, and cannot stand for board election. They are entitled to discounted entry to EUAA events (this may not always be at the same rate as Full or Associate members). They are also entitled to attend members briefings.
